In a different context, singer Magda Al-Roumi previously sent a message to the children of Lebanon calling on them to be proud of their Lebanese origin and upbringing, as she asked them to sanctify the Lebanese army after sanctifying God, as she put it, stressing that these children are the future of the country, and they are the ones who can rejuvenate Lebanon.

Magda Al-Roumi said, while attending a celebration in a school: Love the country out of respect for your future and your sovereignty. You are Lebanese, sanctified after God, the Lebanese army. You are our hope for the salvation of Lebanon. Be better than us. Beware of giving up its sovereignty. This is your right. Love the country out of respect for the blood of the martyrs.

Magda Al-Roumi added: You are Lebanese from this land. Sanctify the Lebanese army after God. The soldier in the army carries a rifle. You have a pen and paper to defend Lebanon. If you honor Lebanon, it will honor you. You protect it and it will protect you. You in Lebanon are proud of your Lebanese value.
