Samsung has officially discontinued the Galaxy Z TriFold phone in the United States, after the limited quantities that were offered there ran out, thus ending the phone’s short career after it was previously discontinued in Korea.
The Galaxy Z TriFold was available in very limited quantities in Korea before it ran out and was discontinued. It then continued for a short period in the American market, where it was last launched on April 10, but stock quickly ran out. Samsung’s official page now indicates that the limited edition phone is “completely sold out.”

Samsung invites users to follow its website to see its upcoming innovations, and also recommends alternative options such as the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Galaxy S26 Ultra, although neither of them offers the tri-folding design that distinguishes TriFold.
Some rumors indicate the possibility of launching a new generation called TriFold 2 in 2027, with a thinner and lighter design. The company may also be working on another phone with a sliding screen, which reflects its continued interest in new ideas in the foldable phone market.
