The expulsion line leading to the sewage station in the village of Zawiyat Al-Naoura, affiliated with the Al-Shuhadaa Center in Menoufia Governorate, witnessed a sudden explosion that resulted in large quantities of sewage water rushing out and flooding the main street in the area, causing traffic obstruction and anxiety among the residents.

Immediately, the executive agencies moved to the Al-Balagh site, where Muhammad Al-Zarqani, head of the Al-Shuhada Center and City, followed the work of the Water and Sanitation Company teams during the implementation of urgent repairs to contain the breakage and stop the water leakage.
The work included closing the valves of the damaged line, and beginning technical maintenance work to restore the line to operating efficiently and prevent the incident from recurring.
The work of withdrawing and vacuuming the accumulated wastewater on the street was also followed up, as a number of sweeping tractors belonging to the people were deployed, in coordination with the local unit, to facilitate traffic movement and remove the effects resulting from the explosion as quickly as possible, in addition to securing the surroundings of the work site in order to preserve the safety of citizens.
The Presidency of the Martyrs City Council confirmed that the emergency teams of the Water and Sanitation Company continued to work until the situation was fully under control and the situation was restored to normal, while a comprehensive examination of the expulsion line and the surrounding area was conducted, to monitor any technical observations that might lead to future malfunctions.
This comes within the framework of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia, on the necessity of dealing immediately with crises and emergencies, and the rapid transfer of executive agencies to reporting sites, while raising the level of preparedness in all local units and utility companies, and emphasizing the technical readiness and continuous training of work teams to deal with such situations as soon as they occur.
