Informed sources had revealed new developments in the ongoing investigations into the incident of fetuses being found inside a garbage bin in the Masaken Kadwan area in Minya Governorate, the circumstances of which the investigation authorities are still continuing to examine.
The sources reported that there was a disagreement in the statements of two of the defendants, a cleaner and a supervisor, regarding how to dispose of the fetuses and the agreement that took place between them.
According to what was reported in the investigations, the supervisor decided that he agreed with the cleaning worker to throw away the fetuses in exchange for a financial sum of 50 pounds, while the cleaning worker denied the existence of any financial agreement, stressing that the supervisor asked him to get rid of them, exploiting his authority over him at work, and promised him to finish his work early and sign for him to come and leave, which made him unable to refuse the request.
