Civil protection forces were able to control a fire that broke out inside a gold jewelry factory in Badr City, without causing any casualties, while implementing cooling and ventilation works to prevent the fire from reoccurring.

Today, the Operations Room received a report indicating that a fire had broken out inside a factory located in the 800-acre area, next to the Engineering Company for Import and Export, in the Badr Police Department. Immediately, a number of fire engines were dispatched to the site of the fire.

Upon moving and examination, it was found that the fire broke out in part of a production hall with an area of ​​300 square meters, on the third and last floor inside the “Mar Gallery” factory for women’s handicrafts and accessories, which consists of a ground floor and three upper floors.

The total area of ​​the floor is about 1,200 square metres, divided into two production halls, each with an area of ​​600 square metres, where fire broke out in part of one of the two halls.

The civil protection forces succeeded in controlling the fire and extinguishing it completely, while implementing the necessary cooling and ventilation works to ensure that the ignition did not recur, and the necessary legal measures were taken regarding the incident.
