Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, announced the start of the work of dismantling and removing the Sayyida Aisha Bridge, starting at 12 pm today, with the necessary traffic diversions being made.
Earlier, the Governor of Cairo announced the start of trial operation of the alternative Salah Salem axis, which was implemented by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority in cooperation with the Cairo Governorate, in the distance from the Citadel area to Fustat, with a length of about 3 kilometers, as part of the state’s efforts to develop the area. Mrs. AishaAnd solve traffic problems and facilitate traffic in preparation for dismantling and removing the Sayyida Aisha Bridge.
The new axis in the direction coming from Al-Azhar Park to Salah Salem serves three corridors: the first corridor leads to Souq Al-Hamam and then Al-Sayyida Aisha, the second corridor leads to the Civilizations Axis, and the third corridor leads to the Champions Club and then to Old Egypt.
As for the direction coming from ancient Egypt and the Axis of Civilizations, there is an entrance to the Imam Al-Shafi’i Tunnel, an entrance to Al-Khala Street in Al-Tunisi, then to the Autostrad Road, and there is also an entrance to Al-Ibagiyya, then follow the same road to lead to Salah Salem again.
