Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor, confirmed AssiutIntensive monitoring campaigns continue in all centers and neighborhoods, to combat all forms of commercial fraud, tighten control over markets, and ensure that establishments and factories are committed to obtaining the necessary legal licenses, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership headed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the assignments of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, to raise the level of services provided to citizens and achieve sustainable development goals in accordance with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

An intensive rationing campaign in Assiut

The Governor of Assiut explained that the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade, led by Khaled Muhammad, Undersecretary of the Ministry, launched a large ration campaign in the Abnoub Center, which resulted in the seizure of an animal feed packaging factory in the Arab Al-Awamer area operating without a license, and inside it large quantities of animal feed estimated at about 5 tons, in clear violation of the laws regulating the circulation and manufacture of goods.

Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr stressed taking the necessary legal measures regarding the incident, seizing the seized items, and implementing the law firmly to deter violators, stressing that the governorate will not tolerate any practices that harm the health of citizens, threaten the stability of the markets, or represent an attack on the rights of the state, pointing out the importance of continuing full coordination between all concerned parties to tighten control over the markets and confront all forms of manipulation and illegal trading of goods.

The Governor of Assiut appealed to citizens to quickly report any violations or complaints related to commercial fraud or markets, stressing the allocation of hotlines in the governorate’s central operations room to receive citizens’ complaints around the clock on the numbers (114), (088/2135858), and (088/2135727), in addition to the number of the unified government complaints system (16528) affiliated with the Council of Ministers.
