In an attempt to get out of his crisis, Adel sought the help of an old friend who works as a police officer, recalling memories of their studies, before revealing to him the scenes of his previous work with Zaki in installing cameras to monitor corrupt merchants. The officer advised him to immediately withdraw from this path, warning of serious legal consequences that could destroy his future.
On the family front, Adel tried to contain the tension inside his home, assuring his mother that he was seeking treatment for his brother Good He suffers from kleptomania, stressing that his condition is satisfactory and can be treated medically.
As for Zaki, he appeared in a session with his psychiatrist, confessing his deep fears of dying alone after the loss of his daughter, and likened himself to the story of “the bear that killed its owner,” indicating that he hurts those he loves despite the sincerity of his feelings.
Events reach their climax when the factory owner refuses to help Adel’s mother with the costs of her surgery, and even fires her under the pretext of not having an official employment contract. This behavior pushes Adel to a dangerous escalation, as he blackmails the factory owner with an obscene video he secretly filmed of him, and forces him to apologize to his mother and bear the medical expenses.
In a parallel dramatic line, the conflict escalates with a spoiled meat dealer who kidnaps Adel’s friend in an attempt to recover videos condemning him. The merchant seeks help from Zaki, but the latter surprises everyone by supporting Adel, and even gives him his share of the deal. The confrontation ends with the prosecution being informed and the video clips being leaked, so that the news of the merchant’s arrest becomes the talk of public opinion.
The episode concludes with a new shock, as Adel is surprised by the theft of money from his house after he thought he had regained control, which paves the way for a bigger crisis in the coming episodes.
