A young boy drowned in a canal in the village of Abu Madi, affiliated to the Belqas Center in Dakahlia Governorate, today.
A young man was killed by drowning in Dakahlia
The Major General, Director of Dakahlia Security, received a notification from the Director of Criminal Investigation that a report had been received from the Rescue Police Department stating that a child had drowned inside one of the canals in the village of Abu Madi in the Belqas Center district.
A force of officers from the center’s investigation unit, accompanied by river rescue men, moved to the site of the report and were able to recover the body of the child, Ahmed Muhammad Taha Mustafa, one and a half years old, who fell in the canal facing his house in the village.
The body was transferred to the morgue of Belqas Central Hospital, and the necessary report on the incident was prepared, in preparation for presenting it to the investigating authorities to take the necessary measures.
