The Supply Directorate managed In Assiut From seizing large quantities of expired food commodities, within the framework of implementing the directives of the political leadership, and the instructions of Major General Mohamed Alwan, Governor of Assiut, regarding intensifying ration campaigns and tightening control over markets to control goods that are not fit for consumption.
Intensive food campaigns
Based on the instructions of Engineer Khaled Muhammad Ahmed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade launched a ration campaign in the Al-Fath Center district, targeting inspection of places that sell food.
During the campaign, large quantities of expired food commodities were seized inside a supermarket in the Siniyat al-Wasta area of the Al-Fath Center. The necessary legal measures have been taken, and a report on the incident is being prepared in preparation for presenting it to the Public Prosecution.
The Assiut Supply Directorate confirms the continuation of its monitoring campaigns with all determination, warning everyone who dares to offer or sell expired food commodities, and stressing that deterrent measures will be taken against violators in order to preserve the health and safety of citizens.
