The security services in the Ports Security Sector were able to arrest a woman, resident of the Boulaq Al-Dakrour Police Department in Giza Governorate, while she was trying to smuggle narcotic substances out of the country through Cairo International Airport.

This came within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to tighten security control over all ports and ports, as the accused was arrested while completing her travel procedures, and in possession of a quantity of hashish and opium drugs in violation of the law.
When she was confronted, she admitted to possessing the seized narcotics with the intention of smuggling them abroad.
The necessary legal measures were taken regarding the incident, and the Public Prosecution was notified, which took over the investigation.
