A student in the fifth grade of Al-Azhari primary school was killed after she became severely ill after eating a meal suspected of spoilage, in the Tama Center district, north of Sohag Governorate.
A spoiled meal ends the life of a student in Sohag
Major General Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz, Director of Sohag Security, received a notification from the warden of the Tama Police Station, stating the arrival of the child, “Aya.” M. A, 11 years old, a student in the fifth grade of Al-Azhari primary school at Al-Ezbat Al-Jadidah Institute, affiliated with the Tama Al-Azhar administration, was taken to Tama Central Hospital, suffering from severe fatigue, allegedly because of eating a spoiled meal.
Upon moving and examination, it was found that the student had eaten some food from home in addition to a bag of “Indomie”, which led to her suffering from poisoning, and she was transferred to the hospital, where a stomach wash was performed and the necessary first aid was provided, but she died a few hours after receiving treatment.
The necessary report on the incident was prepared and presented to the competent investigation authorities, and given the absence of criminal suspicion, they authorized the burial of the body.
