Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun received Governor Port SaidToday, in his office at the governorate’s general office, Major General Engineer Mahmoud Arafat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport, and Dr. Amr Mostafa, Executive Managing Director of the Holding Company, in the presence of Major General Mohamed Amer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nile Transport Company, and Major General Hassan Al-Laithi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Super Jet Company, where the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and develop the transportation and logistics system within the governorate.
The Governor of Port Said announces the establishment of a headquarters for East Delta buses in Port Fouad
He welcomed Governor of Port Said attended, praising the vital role of the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport in supporting the state’s plans to develop the transport sector, stressing the importance of integrating efforts between various parties to achieve a qualitative leap in the level of services provided to citizens.
The head of the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport, in response to the governor’s request, agreed to start preparing a new headquarters for East Delta buses within the city of Port Fouad, which will contribute to facilitating the needs of citizens and improving the level of transportation services, especially in light of the people’s demands to provide a direct starting point from the city.
The new headquarters is scheduled to include the “Por Fouad – Cairo” and “Por Fouad – Ismailia” lines, in addition to providing reservation and sale services for Superjet bus tickets inside the headquarters, providing multiple and convenient options for citizens.
The two sides reviewed a number of files for developing the maritime and land transport system in Port Said, while the attendees expressed their appreciation for the good reception, stressing their keenness to continue cooperation with the governorate to develop the transport infrastructure and provide modern services that keep pace with the state’s comprehensive development plans.
