Asus has now released the ProArt Keyboard KD300 wireless keyboard. With a 65% layout and RX Red Low-Profile optical switches, the keyboard also offers Tri-mode connectivity like the MX Keys Mini, but with a more premium overall finish.
Asus has now launched the ProArt Keyboard KD300. Unveiled in January, it’s a 65% wireless keyboard with an upscale look similar to the rest of the ProArt range. In that sense, the ProArt Keyboard KD300 could be an option for those who might be interested in a more premium alternative to something like Logitech’s “MX Keys Mini” keyboard (currently $99.99 on Amazon).
As a reminder, the ProArt Keyboard KD300 is very compact and low-profile thanks to its 26.8mm thick chassis. However, Asus supplies the wireless keyboard with its own optical switches RX Red Low-Profile Which provides an action response of 1.0 mm and feedback of up to 55 grams per key. Also, the keyboard supports two tilt angles and silicone insulation to reduce echo and noise when typing.

Not only that, the ProArt Keyboard KD300 offers Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and wired connection modes, with the ability to remember five devices simultaneously. Meanwhile, the back of the keyboard features a touchpad for adjusting keyboard lighting and controlling media playback. These uses can be modified in ASUS’ Gear Link program as well.
Furthermore, ASUS rates the ProArt Keyboard KD300’s battery life at up to 16 months between charges. The company set the price at 999 Chinese yuan (about $145) in China. Pricing and global availability have not yet been confirmed. However, Asus stated that international availability is planned. Please see the company website for more details.
