Poco is preparing to launch its new phone, Poco C81 Pro, after the device recently obtained a certificate of approval for sale in Thailand from the NBTC.
The certificate bearing the model number 25128PC17G confirmed the absence of support for 5G networks, which clearly indicates its belonging to the economic category within the C series.
Last January, the phone received approval from the SDPPI Authority in Indonesia, but it was registered at that time only as Poco C81, before it later received the Pro suffix, which confirms that the two devices are the same phone. Expectations also indicate that it may be launched in some markets under the name Redmi A7 Pro.
If the renaming information is correct, the phone will come with a 6.9-inch screen with HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, in addition to a Unisoc T7250 processor, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB storage options.

As for photography, it is expected to include a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front camera, while it will derive its power from a 6000 mAh battery that supports 15-watt wired charging.
Despite the approaching date of its launch, the leaks indicate that it may run on Android 15 when it is put on the market, despite the availability of Android 16 since last June.
