Oppo is preparing to launch its new flagship tablet computer, the Oppo Pad 5 Pro, on the twenty-first of April in China. Before the official launch, Oppo revealed the device’s various color options and memory configurations, as this event is scheduled to witness the launch of two new devices, the Pad 5 Pro and Pad Mini. The Pad Mini will represent a compact, high-quality option, while the Pad 5 Pro will come as a successor to the Pad 4 Pro, which was released last year and sits on the throne of the company’s leading tablets for this year.
The design language of the Pad 5 Pro appears to be very similar to the previous version, as it features a pill-shaped rear camera module. The new tablet will be available in three elegant color options, including mocha brown, dawn gold, and monet violet, in addition to providing four different memory configurations to meet all needs, which include 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage space, or 12 GB of 256 or 512 GB of storage space, in addition to the highest option with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space.
Regarding the expected technical specifications, the received leaks indicate that the tablet computer may come with a huge 13.2-inch LCD screen, and its performance will depend on the leading Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The device will draw its power from a giant battery with a capacity of 13,380 mAh that supports fast charging technology with a capacity of 67 watts, which represents a noticeable upgrade compared to the previous version’s battery, which had a capacity of 12,140 mAh. The device features a slim design with a thickness of 5.94 mm and a weight of 672 grams, with an exceptional audio setup that includes eight speakers, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera.
