Menna Shalaby has signed a contract to star in a new series entitled Amber of Death, written by Maryam Naoum and directed by Karim El-Shenawy, which is scheduled to be officially announced in the coming days.
Menna Shalabi coming soon to Shahid
Cairo 24 learned that the series Amber of Death, starring Menna Shalabi, will take place in 12 episodes and is scheduled to be shown on the Shahid platform. The producing company is also continuing in the current period to nominate and contract with the rest of the heroes of the work in order to announce the filming.
Menna Shalabi will participate in the upcoming Ramadan season in a new series that brings her together with Iyad Nassar, in which she addresses the situation in Gaza and the work is called Love and War, and directed by Peter Mimi.
Her last Ramadan work was her starring in the series Change of Joe, which was shown in 2023, written by Mona Al-Shimi and directed by Maryam Abu Auf. The events revolved around a dramatic framework around the girl Sharifa, who faces and goes through many different crises, including her mother’s suffering from addiction to alcohol and tranquilizers. As events unfold, she falls in love with a university doctor, and events continue between Beirut and Cairo.
In cinema, she recently contracted to star in a new film called Normandy, starring Amir Karara, written by Hisham Hilal and directed by Peter Mimi. She is also awaiting the screening of the film Death Squad, starring Ahmed Ezz, written by Salah Al-Juhaini and directed by Ahmed Alaa El-Deeb.
