A sneaky surprise for a baby girl at Al Hussein Hospital
The first is that the accused was pregnant and the fetus miscarried and her pregnancy was not completed, which she hid from everyone and from her husband as well. The second is that the husband, until the last moments, thought that his wife was pregnant and gave birth to this child for him while he believed that she was his daughter.
Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Interior, had directed the speedy arrest of the accused and the return of the child, and the research team led by Major General Alaa Bashandi, the General Directorate of Cairo Investigations, succeeded in revealing the details of the incident, arresting the accused, and returning the child within a few hours.
In the same context, preliminary investigations revealed details of the arrest of the accused of kidnapping an infant from Al-Hussein University Hospital, from inside the hospital immediately after her birth, noting that the accused is 40 years old and works as a cigarette seller.
Initial investigations into the kidnapping of an infant from Al-Hussein University Hospital revealed that the infant’s mother received her daughter from one of the nurses, but later left her with a woman she did not know to carry her instead of her before she went to sleep, which the accused took advantage of in committing the incident.
