On March 26, the Chinese company Huawei announced the Huawei P40 lineup, and although it will not come with Google mobile services, the new series coming from Huawei includes some of the most awaited phones for this year. On this page, we will clarify some of the differences between the new phones.
Huawei plans to follow other giant companies such as Apple and Samsung by launching three new versions of its upcoming phones:
- Huawei P40 pro
- Huawei Huawei P40
- Huawei Huawei P40 Premium
So, the Huawei P40 Premium phone will have the highest specifications and the most expensive in terms of price, according to the leaks. The biggest difference between the three phones is the camera, with other differences in the screen size, but all three phones contain the latest (HiSilicon Kirin 990) processors found in (Mate 30 Pro) and the company’s foldable phone (Mate Xs).
The Huawei P40 Premium phone comes with a HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor and 12 GB of RAM, and it may come with more or less numbers, noting that the three devices share the same back design, while on the front we may see curved screens in the phones (Huawei P40 Pro) and (Huawei P40 Premium) and a flat screen on (Huawei P40).
The upcoming devices have a hole in the screen for the front camera, but the number of cameras is different, as there is supposed to be a dual front camera within (Huawei P40 Pro) and (Huawei P40 Premium), and a single camera within (Huawei P40). Huawei gives you a choice between three types of materials: glass, ceramic, and leather.
There is a leak showing the three models in various colors, and it also shows the presence of a five-lens camera in (Huawei P40 Premium), a quad-lens camera in (Huawei P40 Pro), and a triple-lens camera in (Huawei P40). It is said that the five-point camera in the Huawei P40 Premium phone includes two separate zoom lenses, the first of the periscope type, which provides 10X optical zoom, and the second offers 3X optical zoom, and there will be additional sensors to assist the cameras – (3D ToF) to sense depth and a temperature sensor to obtain a more accurate color tone.
The ultra-wide camera is said to use a 40-megapixel Sony IMX650 sensor, and will be classified as a cinema lens camera designed to meet the specific needs of filmmaking, and was introduced with the Honor V30 Pro phone. As for (Huawei P40 Pro), it includes a 5X zoom lens, in addition to the main lens of the (Huawei P40 Premium) phone itself with a resolution of 52 megapixels, and an ultra-wide lens with a resolution of 40 megapixels, which is classified as a cinema lens. While (Huawei P40) includes a triple camera with a 52-megapixel primary lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3X zoom telephoto lens.
