Google launched the first beta version of Android 17 for Pixel phones earlier this month, and now Motorola, in turn, is starting to roll out the Android 17 beta program for its devices. This step comes remarkably, especially since the company has not been known recently for quickly providing major updates to the Android system.

So far, it is not clear whether this early activity will be reflected in the speed of the stable version launch later, but the indicators initially look positive.

Motorola is allowing users to join the beta program for select devices by region. In the United States, Motorola Edge (2025) owners can enroll in the program. In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Moto G57 and G57 Power users can participate.

Although the beta version is available, it is recommended not to install it on a device that the user relies on for basic tasks, as it is an early release that may contain bugs or performance and stability issues.
