The second window of the African qualifiers for the 2027 Basketball World Cup begins today, hosted by the Burj Al Arab Hall in Alexandria until the first of next March.

Four teams participate in the second window, led by Egypt, along with the teams of Mali, Uganda, and Angola, as part of the fourth group competitions.
The competitions will begin with a confrontation between Angola and Uganda at eight o’clock in the evening today, then the first day’s competitions will conclude with a match between Egypt and Mali at eleven o’clock in the evening.

The Egyptian national team’s list for the final basket includes: Amr El-Gendy, Assem Marei, Omar Tariq, Anas Osama, Ihab Amin, Ahmed Adel Doula, Khaled Abdel Nasser, Patrick Gardner, Mohab Yasser, Adam Musa, Ahmed Yasser Rayhan, and Pipo Zahran.
The Burj Al Arab Hall in Alexandria will host the second window competitions of the fourth group, which includes the national team along with the teams of Angola, Uganda, and Mali, during the period from February 26 to March 1.
The national team will begin its journey by facing the Mali national team on Thursday, February 26, at 11 p.m., before meeting Angola on Saturday, February 28, at the same time, and concluding its matches by facing Uganda on Sunday, March 1, at 11 p.m.
The top three finishers from each group qualify for the second and final stage of the qualifiers.
