The doctor testified Mustafa MadboulyPrime Minister, this morning in the New Administrative Capital, the activities of the International Exhibition for Marketing Research Outputs (IRC EXPO 2025) were launched, on behalf of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and a number of leaders of universities, research centers, and national and international companies.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research explained that the exhibition, which will be held from December 11 to 12, represents the first international platform of its kind in the Middle East region to link the outputs of scientific research with investment and industry, thus contributing to enhancing Egypt’s regional and international position in the fields of innovation and the knowledge economy. Ashour added that the event comes under the patronage of His Excellency the President, which reflects the political leadership’s full support for Egyptian scientists and researchers, enabling them to provide innovative solutions to societies and markets, and building bridges of international cooperation to provide new economic and industrial opportunities.

The Minister pointed out that the exhibition attracts more than 200 international participants from more than 80 countries, including government representatives, heads of international companies, universities and research centers, in addition to investors, entrepreneurs and representatives of the banking sector, and includes about 35 international pavilions, including 26 universities and research centers and 106 startup companies. The Egypt National Pavilion also includes 39 exhibitors, including 16 universities, 8 research centers, and 15 startup companies, in addition to pavilions for the Innovation Support Fund and the National Research Center.

Ashour continued that the exhibition includes multiple strategic sectors, such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology and health, renewable energy, advanced industry, agricultural technology, cybersecurity, and smart cities, which reflects the Egyptian trend towards the knowledge economy, digital transformation, and enhancing technological innovation.

During the tour around the exhibition, the Prime Minister was briefed on a number of national and international innovations, including a low-speed car that was 60% locally designed and directed to smart cities, stressing the importance of accelerating its licensing procedures to promote the spread of low-cost, environmentally friendly vehicles. The Prime Minister also inspected the pavilions of research institutes and technology companies, and listened to presentations on the latest innovations in the production of nanotubes, active carbon, and solar cells extracted from Egyptian black sand, in addition to the innovations of the Petroleum Research Institute.

The Prime Minister stressed that the exhibition represents an important platform for highlighting Egyptian achievements in scientific research and innovation, enhancing international cooperation in science and technology, and opening new horizons for investment and industrial partnerships, thus contributing to consolidating Egypt’s position as a leading country in the field of innovation at the regional and international levels.
