Lenovo has expanded the availability of its new IdeaPad Slim 5x 15Q8Y11 laptop, which has a 15-inch screen, to reach global markets, specifically in Europe. This step comes a few weeks after Lenovo launched this version in North America, and after the smaller version 13Q8Y11 arrived in European markets to be a more compact and powerful option compared to the IdeaPad Slim 5 14Q8X9, which is available at a price of 775 US dollars, so the company completes its lineup by offering the larger version to meet the needs of users looking for wider screens.

This laptop combines strong performance and efficiency thanks to its reliance on the latest Qualcomm processors, the Snapdragon Regarding the visual experience, Lenovo provides two screen options to suit different preferences, as users can choose between an IPS screen that supports a display resolution of 1200 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, or upgrade to an OLED screen that supports a display resolution of 1600 pixels and an ultra-smooth refresh rate of 165 Hz, with the possibility of providing the device with an optional battery with a capacity of 70 watts per hour to ensure long periods of operation.

The computer can be obtained in the United Kingdom at a price of £ 1,440 for the version that includes 1 TB of storage space, with Lenovo charging an additional fee of only £ 40 to upgrade to the OLED screen at no additional cost to obtain the larger battery. In contrast, the starting prices in the Eurozone range between 1,199 and 1,259 euros for the same configurations, while the price of the device in Australia is no less than 2,449 Australian dollars for the basic version, noting that Lenovo is limited in the Australian market to selling this version, which is based on the ARM architecture, with an OLED screen only, without providing the lower-resolution screen option.
