It seems that Apple is working seriously on developing a full set of new and innovative artificial intelligence features for its upcoming series of phones, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, to keep pace with the rapid technical development. Recent software leaks revealed four new and exciting features before their official announcement, as we found strong evidence inside Apple’s servers confirming the arrival of these specific features as an essential part of the expected iOS 27 operating system. It is still unknown at this moment whether these advanced features will be exclusive and limited to the latest versions only, or whether they will also be available to older versions such as the iPhone 17 Pro, which is currently available in the market.

The leaks indicate that Apple is preparing to add two new features that fall under the umbrella of visual intelligence to the basic camera application to facilitate daily tasks for users. The first feature in the new system allows the camera to be directed at personal business cards or written phone numbers to create a new contact and save it directly on the phone without the need for manual writing. The second and most interesting feature is the ability to scan food product labels to obtain accurate detailed information about nutritional values, with the ability to link and use this valuable data to track users’ healthy diet directly within the integrated Apple Health application.
The improvements did not stop at the camera only, but the digital wallet application is scheduled to get a new and practical feature that allows users to scan event tickets or membership cards using the camera to add a digital copy of them to the wallet with ease. Since many events only require scanning a barcode or QR code to pass through the entry gates, this feature will work very efficiently even with tickets issued from platforms that do not officially support Apple Wallet. Finally, the Safari browser will have a smart option to automatically name tab groups to organize browsing. It is expected that more details about these features will be revealed during the annual developers conference next June before the official launch of the system in September or October of the current year 2026.
