iQOO is preparing to launch its new iQOO 15R phone in the Indian market soon, and after the company revealed a quick glimpse of the design without going into details, the Geekbench platform came to reveal the first important technical specifications.
The Geekbench database showed the phone being listed with the model number I2508, with an octa-core processor that includes two cores with a frequency of up to 3.8 GHz and six cores with a frequency of 3.32 GHz, along with an Adreno 829 graphics processor. These specifications indicate that the phone is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor from Qualcomm.
The test also showed that the phone runs on Android 16 and comes with 8 GB of RAM in the test version, with additional RAM options expected to be available at launch. In terms of performance, the iQOO 15R achieved a result of 2,590 points in the single-core test and 8,423 points in the multi-core test, while it scored 21,075 points in the graphics test.

At the same time, the company is promoting the phone as a device that offers solid performance with a comfortable design for everyday use. Rumors indicate that the iQOO 15R may be a modified version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo phone that was recently launched in China.
If these leaks are correct, the phone is expected to come with a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,260p and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, with support for random memory of up to 16 GB and a storage capacity of up to 1 TB. At the imaging level, it is likely to include a 32-megapixel front camera, along with a 200-megapixel main rear camera and an 8-megapixel wide lens.
As for the battery, it is expected to have a capacity of 7,600 mAh with silicon-carbon technology, with support for 100-watt fast charging. The phone may also support an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the screen, wired reverse charging, along with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance standards.
