Ahmed Al-Sakka sent a strong message of support to the star of the Egyptian national team and the English Liverpool club, Mohamed Salah, calling on the club’s management to show greater respect towards the player amid the controversy surrounding his freezing from the starting lineup after the recent crisis.
Al-Saqqa posted a video clip in English on his official Instagram account, in which he called on Liverpool’s management to appreciate Salah’s achievements over the past years.
He pointed out that he is a proud representative not only of the English club, but of the Egyptian and Arab fans as well. He also stressed that the championships and goals Salah achieved in his career deserve a higher appreciation than the current deal.
Al-Sakka’s statements come in light of clear tension between Mohamed Salah and the Liverpool management after the player began sitting on the bench in recent matches, which sparked widespread controversy in sports circles about the future of the Egyptian international with the Reds, and Salah himself expressed his frustration with the way he was being dealt with, which strengthened popular and media support for him.
