Dell has launched a new Mini-PC in the Thin Client category under the name Pro Micro Thin Client Q9M1260, to come as a less powerful option compared to the QCM1250 model.
The device relies on Intel Twin Lake processors with a thermal capacity of up to 7 watts, instead of Arrow Lake processors, which allows the use of passive cooling without the need for a fan.
Inside the chassis, which has dimensions of 182 x 178 x 36 mm, Dell provided an M.2 2230 port for PCIe Gen 3 or UFS 2.1 storage, along with an additional M.2 2230 port for Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 cards.
The device can also be configured with one of seven optional port modules, including support for 1 GbE fiber optic connectivity. The device works via a 65-watt USB-C port instead of the traditional power connector.

The device starts with a Processor N150 processor with 8 GB of DDR5-5600 memory, with a 16 GB option also available, but both versions operate in single-channel mode.
Dell also offers more powerful options including the Processor N250 or Core 3 N350, the latter being the most powerful thanks to having twice the number of Gracemont cores compared to the other two options.
The price of the Pro Micro Thin Client in the United States ranges between $966 and $1,748 before adding a mouse or keyboard. While the price starts from 646 pounds sterling in the United Kingdom, 2147 Canadian dollars in Canada, and about 731 euros in Europe.
