Major General Muhammad Alwan Governor conducted AssiutA field visit to the New Trauma Hospital affiliated with the University Hospitals at Assiut University, to check on the health condition of Professor Amer Abdel Awad, head of the village of Umm Al-Qusour in the Manfalut Center, after he was exposed to a traffic accident while performing his work duties.

The governor was accompanied during the visit by Dr. Mina Emad, deputy governor, accountant Adly Abu Aqeel, secretary general of the governorate, Dr. Eid Ali Khalifa, undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments, Hassan Othman, undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, Khaled Mohamed, undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, Ahmed Suwaifi, undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mamdouh Gabr, head of the West Assiut district, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hamid, hospital director, and Dr. Saeed Metwally, deputy director for casualties affairs, along with a number of executive leaders, as well as the family of the injured person.
The Governor of Assiut reassured the health condition of the village head, and closely followed the level of medical services provided to him, directing the necessity of providing all necessary aspects of health care, while continuing close monitoring of his condition until he recovers, praising his sincere efforts in performing his work and serving the citizens.
For its part, the village chief’s family expressed their appreciation for this humanitarian visit, stressing that it reflects the governor’s interest in the employees of the executive branch and his keenness to provide them with full support in various circumstances.
