During CES 2026, JBL announced the launch of eight new models from the Tune series for the year 2026, which included the 780NC, 680NC, 730BT, 530BT, 530 Wired, 530C USB-C, 235BT, and 135BT, with a clear division covering different categories of users.
In the upper category, the company introduced the 780NC and 680NC headphones, and for the first time added the active noise cancellation feature to the Tune series. JBL used 40mm drivers in the 780NC and 32mm drivers in the 680NC, and estimated playback time at up to 76 hours.
The two headphones support Bluetooth 6.0, Multipoint connectivity, and LE Audio technology with LC3 codec, along with two microphones with Beamforming technology to improve call quality.
JBL then moved into the mid-range segment with the 730BT and 530BT models. The 730BT relied on 40 mm drivers and supported Bluetooth 6.0 and LE Audio with the LC3 codec, while the 530BT relied on 33 mm drivers and supported only the traditional SBC codec.

The company paid special attention to fans of wired connections, so it launched the 530 Wired model, which replaces the wireless connection with a direct cable with support for Hi-Res Audio. It also unveiled the 530C USB-C model, which used 12.5mm drivers, added IPX4 water resistance, a three-button controller with microphone, and a USB-C cable.
As for the economic category, it included the 235BT and 135BT models. The 235BT used 12.5mm drivers with IPX4 water resistance, while the 135BT came with 8.6mm drivers. JBL estimated operating time for both models at up to 25 hours.
The company set prices between $34.95 and $149.95. It was decided to launch the 135BT and 235BT models in January 2026, with the rest of the models being available in June 2026, noting that the 730BT model was previously launched in Japan last November.
