Google continues to add new features to the AI mode in the Chrome browser, as the company revealed a new experience that allows links suggested by artificial intelligence to be opened alongside the conversation within the same tab.
This feature allows the web page to be displayed alongside the chat window, making navigation easier and reducing the need to open or switch between multiple tabs. This method also allows you to continue asking questions directly while browsing the content without interrupting the workflow.
Google explains that the user can, for example, search for a coffee machine, then open one of the suggested links next to the conversation and continue asking questions about the product. You can also explore different topics and open pages related to them while maintaining the same search context.

Google has also added a new menu with a “+” sign inside the search box in Chrome, allowing you to search across currently open tabs. Through it, several tabs, images, or files such as PDF can be inserted to add additional context to AI Mode search, in addition to supporting tools such as Canvas and creating images from the same place.
These features are currently available in the United States only in the latest version of Chrome, and will expand to other regions around the world in the coming period.
