Nokia continues to offer industrial phones alongside HMD Global’s consumer phones, such as the Nokia 105 4G.
In this context, the company is working on a new business phone called Nokia Mission-Safe Phone 2, which focuses on durability and unconventional functionality.
Well-known leaker @smashx_60 revealed the first image of the phone, along with a set of details related to its specifications. According to this information, the phone gets a noticeable update in the front design, as the screen comes with thinner edges compared to the previous generation, with the 50-megapixel front camera being moved to a hole inside the screen instead of the traditional protrusion.

The screen also increases from 6.32 inches to 6.58 inches, with a 1080p+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, providing a smoother viewing experience. In terms of protection, the phone comes with IP68 and IP69K certification for water and dust resistance, in addition to the MIL-STD-810H standard, which ensures resistance to high and low temperatures and vibrations. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 also protects the screen from scratches and bumps.
The back of the phone includes pogo pins, which allow for easy use of charging bases and additional accessories. As for the capsule-shaped camera unit, it includes two 50-megapixel sensors, along with a laser sensor used as ToF to improve autofocus.
The phone is based on the Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 processor, with 12 GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of up to 512 GB. The leaks also indicate that Nokia will provide three major updates to the Android system, with security support extending for seven years.
It is expected that the Nokia Mission-Safe Phone 2 will be officially unveiled during the Mobile World Congress 2027 events.
