CES 2026 is approaching, and leaks and previews indicate a clear dominance of AI technologies across various device categories, along with pivotal announcements from major companies such as Intel, Sony, and NVIDIA.
Intel is preparing to finally unveil its Panther Lake Core Ultra Series 3 processors, which are the first 2nm chips. It is expected to provide a performance jump of up to 50%, a necessary step amidst fierce competition.
In the same context, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, takes the stage of the keynote with a major focus on artificial intelligence, while AMD is expected to respond through Lisa Su by launching Ryzen 9000 processors and new updates on artificial intelligence image improvement techniques.

Monitors and TVs continue to play a starring role at the show, as CES once again returns to being the arena for innovation in display technology. This year highlights the Micro RGB trend, with LG introducing a new Micro RGB Evo panel with over 1,000 dimming zones, while Samsung plans to launch a full range of Micro RGB TVs in sizes ranging from 55 to 115 inches.
In an extension of what was previously presented, Sony is developing its own technology through RGB LED panels with separate Mini LED lighting for the primary colors, with a new brand called True RGB.
The exhibition follows comprehensive coverage of keynotes, press conferences and major announcements, amidst a huge explosion of AI-branded devices, with growing questions about what actually deserves attention.
As usual, CES is not without surprise celebrity appearances, adding an unexpected entertainment dimension to the most prominent technical event.
