The film Barshama topped the list of box office revenues in Egyptian cinema yesterday, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, achieving remarkable public demand, according to what was announced by the Film Yard website, which specializes in tracking daily revenues.
Movie revenue
Barshama achieved daily revenues amounting to one million, 679 thousand and 816 pounds, by selling about 9,703 tickets, continuing to lead the competition, with total revenues reaching 158 million, 836 thousand and 967 pounds, after selling more than 1.03 million tickets since the start of its show.
In second place was the movie EgyBest, which recorded daily revenues of 333,690 pounds, after selling 2,168 tickets, while its total revenues amounted to 39,313,730 pounds, achieving an average attendance compared to competitors.
As for third place, the movie The Butcher of the Assembly went to the film, which achieved 283,804 pounds, through the sale of 1,805 tickets, bringing its total revenues to 14,915,610 pounds, while continuing its decline in the revenue ranking.

It is worth noting that the movie Barshama stars the artist Hisham Majed, Mustafa Gharib, Reham Abdel Ghafour, Hatem Salah, Bassem Samra, Arifa Abdel Rasoul, alongside Faten Saeed, Kamal Abu Rayya, Michel Milad, and Fadwa Abed.
The events take place on the day of the Arabic language exam within the high school committee, where the fates of the students and their families are intertwined in comical and sarcastic situations, amidst chaos, corruption, and mass cheating, with funny attempts by the families to help their children in various ways.
