Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki said that the lessons learned from the first phase of implementing the comprehensive health insurance system established a more advanced plan for the second phase, which is based on enhancing spending efficiency, expanding private sector partnerships, and relying more on artificial intelligence And virtual health services.

Al-Subki explained that the Authority is moving to activate preventive medicine services using wearable devices, develop home care services, and launch the National Family Medicine Program and link it to excellence training programs.

He pointed out that the implementation of the comprehensive health insurance system in the governorates of the second phase will begin in Minya Governorate in 2025, as a first step towards the gradual completion of comprehensive health coverage at the republic level.

He added that the authority has obtained 7 major international accreditations, including two accreditations from the Joint Commission International (JCI), two accreditations in health sustainability (GGHH), two accreditations from the international organization ISO, and an accreditation from the World Stroke Organization (WSO), in addition to Arab and international awards, most notably the awards of the International Federation of Hospitals and the Federation of Arab Hospitals.

Al-Sabki concluded by emphasizing that what was achieved came with the support of the political leadership and the integration of state institutions, thanking His Excellency Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, and reiterating the Authority’s commitment that health care remains a national message until comprehensive health insurance is achieved for every citizen in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
