The village of Khiam in the Dar es Salaam center, south of Sohag Governorate, witnessed a quarrel between members of one family due to family disputes, which resulted in the death of two people and the injury of 3 others with gunshots and separate wounds.
5 killed and injured in a quarrel in Sohag
Major General Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz, Director of Sohag Security, received a notification from the warden of Dar es Salaam Police Station stating that 5 people had arrived at Dar es Salaam Central Hospital, including two deaths, following a quarrel in which firearms were used in the village of Khiam.
Upon moving and examination, it was found that Khayami Abdel Hamid, 60 years old, was killed as a result of a gunshot wound, as a dead body arrived and was deposited in the hospital morgue at the disposal of the investigating authorities, and Mahmoud Khayami, 30 years old, as a result of a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and a dead body arrived and was deposited in the hospital morgue at the disposal of the investigating authorities.
Abdel Momen M., 26 years old, was also injured by a gunshot wound to the right shoulder, with an entry and exit hole, and he was transferred to Sohag University Hospital. Mohsen Kh., 24 years old, suffered two traumatic wounds to the scalp, each 8 cm long and a depth of up to the bones of the skull. He was transferred to Sohag University Hospital. Mahmoud Abdel A. S., 68 years old, suspected of a gunshot wound to the right knee. An x-ray showed traces of shrapnel. Possibly resulting from a gunshot wound.
The police station was notified, the necessary legal measures are being taken, a report on the incident has been drawn up, and the investigating authorities have been notified to initiate investigations, uncover the circumstances of the quarrel, and arrest its parties.
