Mohamed Al-Sayed, the Egyptian national team sword fencing player, won the medal Bronze The World Cup tournament, held in Germany, from February 5 to 7.
Mohamed Al-Sayed achieves a bronze medal in the World Fencing Cup in Germany
Al-Sayed managed to reach the semi-finals before losing to Italian champion David de Villora with a score of 14-7, settling for bronze.
Mohamed Al-Sayed opened his tournament campaign by defeating Canadian player Dylan French with a score of 15-12 in the round of 64, before winning in the round of 32 over Chinese champion Yong Shuang Liu with a score of 15-6.
In the 16-final, Al-Sayed defeated Swiss champion Lukas Malkuti with a score of 15-10, before defeating Czech champion Jakub Gorka with the same score in the quarter-finals and qualifying for the semi-finals.
It is noteworthy that Mohamed Al-Sayed is the historic bronze medalist in fencing at the Summer Olympics held in 2024 in Paris, the capital of France.
