A Sudanese national filed a lawsuit accusing one of the famous eye hospitals in Heliopolis of causing damage to his right eye following an operation to remove cataracts from the eye inside the hospital, which caused him partial atrophy of the optic nerve and poor vision after the operation failed.

The subject of the complaint stated that the complainant went to the hospital in question, which resides in Heliopolis, due to the presence of white water in his right eye and he wanted to remove that water, so he went to the treating physician against whom the complaint was made, E. The surgery was performed by the complainant to remove cataracts from the right eye of the complainant.
He added that after performing the surgery, the complainant went to the hospital to meet the doctor performing the operation to follow up on the results of the operation that was performed on the complainant’s right eye. The hospital reported that the doctor had rented the place and left the place. After that, the complainant went to another specialized eye hospital. The doctors reported to the hospital that the operation was unsuccessful and that he did not see anything and that the visual impairment of the right eye increased, in addition to the occurrence of partial atrophy of the right eye nerve.
It also caused bleeding in the outer body of the eye and infections in the outer body as a result of white water residue in the eye.
