A source revealed to Cairo 24 that the case papers reached the Court of Appeal In Tanta During the recent period, today, Tuesday, was set for the trial session of the accused, confirming that the investigating authorities had previously decided to refer the accused to the Criminal Court, after completing the investigations and hearing the statements of the victims’ family and eyewitnesses, in addition to the accused’s detailed confession of committing the incident and his representation of the crime inside the abandoned house at the scene of the accident.
The source explained that the accused made a full confession before the investigating authorities, during which he admitted to committing the crime, which sparked a widespread state of sadness and anger among the people of the village of Al-Raheb, due to its ugliness and the killing of three children at once, stressing that the investigations revealed precise details about how the incident was committed and the circumstances surrounding it.
The details of the incident are due to the bodies of 3 children being found inside an abandoned house in the village of Al Raheb, where the neighbors’ statements revealed that the accused was a friend of the children’s father and enjoyed his complete trust, which made it easy for him to lure them to the scene of the crime, before the incident was discovered in a tragic scene.
