A source revealed that there were preferences for an episode that included child readers in the State of Recitation program, especially since they all had good voices and also received praise from the program’s jury during the episodes in which they were present.

A surprise with the State of Recitation program

The source told Cairo 24: This episode will include readers Muhammad Al-Qalaji, Omar Ali, Abdullah Abdel-Mawjoud, and Ali Muhammad Mustafa.

The previous episodes witnessed the exit of the three readers, Muhammad Al-Qalaji, Omar Ali, Abdullah Abdul Mawjoud, and Ali Muhammad Mustafa.

Meanwhile, the jury of the State of Recitation program praised the technical level of contestant Mohamed Ahmed Hassan during yesterday’s episode, confirming that his reading was free of errors.

Dr. Hassan Abdel Nabi, representative of the Qur’an Review Committee, said: Muhammad Ahmed Hassan memorizes the Qur’an by verse numbers, and this is one of God’s blessings upon him. His reading is perfect, its rulings are good, and there are no errors.

Sheikh Taha Al-Numani added: He has a much higher level than that, but we need some time to enjoy him, and in terms of rulings, there is nothing wrong with him. Meanwhile, Dr. Taha Abdel Wahab, an expert in Maqamat, said to the contestant: Well done.

In the context of the episode, journalist Mustafa Hosni made a sarcastic comment to the contestant after his brother’s brilliance, saying: I was reading that younger sisters fight with each other every 10 minutes, so what are you, Sheikh, and your brother fighting about?

Muhammad Ahmed Hassan responded that the differences between him and his brother are normal, commenting: If we fight, it will be a very normal matter, as happens between sisters, or we call it quarrels. We are a very simple family and we do not deal as if we are a family with sheikhs, and like any family there is fun, seriousness, and amusement.
