Today, Saturday, the cultural, artistic and awareness-raising nights activities of Ramadan will begin in South Sinai Governorate, under the patronage of Major General Ismail Kamal, Governor of South Sinai, and the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, headed by Major General Khaled Al-Labban, as part of a busy program that includes 105 various activities during the period from the 10th to the 20th of Ramadan.

Artistic concerts in Tur Sinai, Sharm El-Sheikh and Nuweiba
The program includes holding 19 artistic concerts, including 11 performances on the summer stage at the Tur Sinai Culture Palace, performed by children’s folk arts groups, the Automatics Band (children and adults), in addition to the children’s choir.

Sharm El-Sheikh will also host 5 artistic concerts performed by the Children’s Choir of the Palace of Culture in the commercial market, while Nuweiba will witness 3 concerts presented by the Children’s Choir of the House of Culture on the Social Club stage.

The activities begin today with an artistic concert at the Summer Theater in Sinai, and another in the commercial market in Sharm El-Sheikh, and the various daily performances will continue during the period from 11 to 19 Ramadan.

33 religious and awareness lectures
The program includes 33 religious and educational lectures held in a number of cultural sites in cities:-
Dahab
Saint Catherine
Abu Zanimah
Abu Redis
Ras Sidr
Taba

The program also certifies:

10 poetry evenings and literary meetings organized by the Sinai Literature Club, and an evening at the Sharm El Sheikh Culture Palace.
5 workshops for the Women’s Club, including handicrafts, recycling, and accessories making.

Two foam workshops and sewing education in Sharm El Sheikh.

25 art workshops for children to discover talents in drawing and painting.

12 activities within children’s literature include storytelling, free reading, and cultural competitions.

The activities are being implemented under the supervision of the Canal and Sinai Cultural Region, headed by Ahmed Yousry, and under the supervision of the South Sinai Culture Branch, managed by Munira Fathi, as part of a plan aimed at spreading cultural and artistic awareness and enhancing community participation during the month of Ramadan, with the head of the region attending a number of events and celebrations.
