Engineer Hafez Awad, head of the Suez Engineers Syndicate, confirmed that the next stage will witness a real boom in the level of services provided to union members, following his victory in the renewal elections and the governorate’s engineers granting him new confidence to lead union work during the coming period.

The head of the Engineers Syndicate explained in statements to Cairo 24 that renewing confidence represents a great responsibility before it is just a position, stressing that the union council will work according to a clear plan aimed at improving social and health services, in addition to developing training and qualification programs in line with the requirements of the modern labor market.

He added that supporting young engineers is a top priority for the next stage, by providing real job opportunities and coordinating with companies and factories operating inside and outside the governorate, which contributes to reducing unemployment rates and opening new professional horizons for new graduates.

He pointed out that the union will also seek to activate cooperation protocols with various parties to organize specialized courses in various fields of engineering, with a focus on the most in-demand specializations, stressing that investing in training and qualifying young cadres is the true guarantee for the future of the profession.

Engineer Hafez Awad concluded his statements by emphasizing that the union’s door will remain open to all constructive proposals and ideas, calling on all engineers to join hands and work in a team spirit in order to enhance the union’s position and serve its members in a way that befits them.
