American media reported that negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine regarding the conflict in Ukraine may resume next Sunday in Abu Dhabi, that is, 8 days from now.
Earlier, the plane of the Russian delegation in the Abu Dhabi tripartite talks on Ukraine with the delegations of Ukraine and the United States left the Emirates after talks held during the first meeting of the tripartite working group on security issues regarding Ukraine, which was held on Friday and Saturday without reaching a decisive position yet.
A RIA Novosti correspondent reported that the Russian delegation’s Il-62 plane left Abu Dhabi at 6:35 pm on Saturday.
Possible conditions for ending the conflict in Ukraine
Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, said that the talks between representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the United States in Abu Dhabi touched on possible criteria for ending the conflict in Ukraine and the conditions for that.
Zelensky wrote in a post on the Telegram platform: The discussions focused mainly on possible criteria for ending the conflict.
He added that the delegations also discussed the security conditions required to end the conflict.
