The local unit of the center and city of Kom Hamada, in coordination with Electrical Engineering, announced the disconnection of electricity from a number of areas and villages affiliated with the center, this morning, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, for a period of 5 hours.
Today… electricity was cut off from 3 villages in Kom Hamada, Beheira, for 5 hours
Electrical Engineering explained that the outage comes within the plan to develop the system and modernize the network, as work will be carried out to install “smart meters” at the “Al-Sawaf” feeder, in order to raise the efficiency of energy distribution and develop the accounting and consumption system.
The power outage is scheduled to begin from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon, and the following areas will be affected by the outage: Al-Sawaf village, Kom Sharik village, and Magnin village.
The local unit calls on the citizens living in those areas, and the owners of bakeries, hospitals, and service institutions, to take the necessary precautions and manage their needs during the aforementioned outage period, provided that the power returns regularly as soon as the installation work is completed.
