The Sheikh of Al-Azhar stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, presents a pioneering civilizational model in promoting the values of pluralism and coexistence, consolidating the values of dialogue and understanding between cultures, defending the issues of the Islamic nation, and striving to unify its ranks, reunite it and gather its word, praising the constructive cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the Council of Muslim Elders to spread the values of dialogue, tolerance, coexistence and peace globally.
In another context, the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity jury will hold its in-person meetings in Cairo and Rome this week, to discuss the files of nominees from more than 76 countries around the world in preparation for selecting the award’s honoree in its seventh session in 2026.
