The match between Barcelona and Espanyol, which brought together both teams at Stage Front Stadium, ended a short while ago, for the Catalunya derby, in the eighteenth round of the Spanish League, La Liga.

Barcelona’s first football team decided the result of its match against its rival Espanyol, by winning with two goals to none, raising the Catalan team’s points tally to 49 points, continuing to lead the Spanish League standings.

The match between Barcelona and Espanyol started in a balanced manner by both teams, so that the goalless draw continued throughout the events of the first half, and continued until the 85th minute of the match.

In the 86th minute, Dani Olmo was able to open the scoring and end the goalless tie, with a special goal after a pass from his colleague Fermin Lopez.

In the 90th minute, a few minutes before the whistle, Fermin Lopez was again able to score a second goal, but this time for Polish Robert Lewandowski, to confirm the victory of the Catalan team with two goals to none, and to add to his score 3 new points.

With this result, Barcelona raised its points tally to 49 points, continuing to lead the Spanish League table, while Espanyol’s tally stopped at 33 points, occupying fifth place in the rankings.
