Croatian Kronoslav Jurcic, coach of the team, spoke PyramidsAbout the upcoming confrontation against RS Berkane at the summit of the group stage of the African Champions League, which will bring together the two teams tomorrow, Saturday, in Morocco.

Jurcic said in the press conference for the match between Pyramids and Nahdet Berkane that the team is waiting for a difficult match against a strong competitor who has great potential and will play on its home soil and among its fans, in light of the competition between the two teams for the top spot in the group, stressing that Pyramids always plays to win no matter the circumstances.
He added: Pyramids prepared well for the match in an external camp in the Emirates, and recently regained its international players after the end of their participation in the African Cup of Nations. Despite the presence of absences, the most notable of which is Mohamed Hamdy, the international left-back, the team is fully prepared and came to Berkane in order to play for victory, come back with three points, maintain the top spot in the group, and come a step closer to qualifying for the quarter-finals.
Jurcic pointed out that Pyramids had previously faced Berkane months ago on the continent in the African Super Cup, and it was indeed a difficult match and Pyramids won the title, and therefore each team knows exactly all the details of its opponent, which will make the match difficult for the two teams. He pointed out that he expects strong clashes in the match given that the municipal stadium in Berkane is a narrow stadium and therefore the events will be exciting and the spaces are small and a great strength is expected from the players of both teams on the field.
Jurcic stressed that he always trusts his players and the group he is coaching, and they are always up to his expectations and their goal is always to maintain what the club has achieved at the top of African competitions.

Pyramids will host RS Berkane at 9pm next Saturday at the Municipal Stadium in the Moroccan city of Berkane, in the third round of the Champions League group stage.
