Conducted by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, President cabinetToday, Monday, a telephone call was made to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark. This is to check on his health condition after undergoing surgery during the past few days.
Counselor Mohamed Al-Homsani, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that the Prime Minister expressed – during the phone call – his sincere wishes to His Holiness the Pope for a speedy recovery, and to maintain His Holiness’ good health and well-being, stressing his keenness to make this call to ensure his safety, and in appreciation of his standing in the hearts of the Egyptians.
