In a statement issued by the Government Emergency Committee on January 25, 2026, the committee affirmed its appreciation for the employees’ efforts and sacrifices during the past stages, stressing that they were and continue to be at the heart of crises alongside the Palestinian people.

The statement indicated that the Palestinian people are going through a new phase in light of what it described as the occupation’s attempts to impose their will through deception and blackmail, stressing that the Palestinian rights to land, reconstruction, managing public affairs, and securing the necessities of life are established rights guaranteed by Sharia and international law.

The statement explained that the occupation failed to impose its will, and that the Palestinians succeeded in seizing a national Palestinian administration, with an emphasis on working towards a smooth handover of all aspects of government work, and facilitating the tasks of the National Committee and supporting it to carry out its duties.

The committee also stressed its endeavor to accommodate all employees and protect their rights, calling on government work cadres in the civil and military sectors to cooperate and facilitate the tasks of the committee, and to continue performing their national and humanitarian duty, in a way that strengthens the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and preserves their unity and national constants.
