Engineer Ahmed Rashad Al-Sharif, head of the agency, inspected the… New Cairo CityWater lifter No. 5, located in the southern 90th axis in the Fifth Settlement area, in the presence of Engineer Mohamed Mohi, Vice President of the Agency for the Stations Sector, and station officials.

During the tour, he listened to a detailed explanation of the water operation system provided by Engineer Shaaban Kamal, director of the city’s water stations. The head of the device also followed the progress of work inside the lifter, and was briefed on the efficiency of operation and periodic maintenance work carried out on the site.

The head of the agency stressed the importance of continuing the technical readiness of the lifting stations to ensure regular water pumping to all residential areas, stressing that the agency pays great attention to water and sewage stations as they are an essential element of the infrastructure in the city of New Cairo.

Integrated maintenance plan

He pointed out that the stations sector works according to an integrated plan for periodic maintenance and continuous development, ensuring service sustainability and raising operating efficiency, directed at quickly dealing with any technical observations that may appear, while fully adhering to occupational safety and health procedures within the sites.

For his part, Engineer Mohamed Mohi, Deputy Head of the Agency for the Stations Sector, explained that Water Lifter No. 5 is one of the city’s vital stations, as it serves a large number of residential areas and urban expansions, stressing that maintenance and technical follow-up work is carried out according to an organized timetable to ensure continuity and efficiency of pumping.
