Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj, Governor of Sohag, accompanied by Major General Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Security of Sohag, was keen to share the joy of the children of the Christian Beit Al-Rahma Association on this occasion, and presented them with gifts in kind and financial gifts, in addition to Eid clothing, amid an atmosphere of joy and happiness, as part of Sohag Governorate’s Christmas celebrations.

The visit witnessed the participation of a number of executive and security leaders, led by Major General Ahmed Al-Sayes, Secretary General of the Governorate, Dr. Muhammad Hosni, Head of the Al-Azhar Region, Dr. Abdel Majeed Al-Kirmani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments, and Dr. Yasser Bakhit, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, as well as a number of members of the House of Representatives and Senate, and Islamic clerics from Al-Azhar and Endowments, along with the executive and popular leadership in the governorate.
For his part, the Governor of Sohag expressed his great happiness with the children’s participation in the atmosphere of celebrating Christmas, stressing that such occasions embody the meanings of national unity and interdependence among the Egyptian people, and offering congratulations to the Coptic brothers, calling for goodness and peace to spread throughout the country.
